Spring Break 2012

For Spring break I took the kids to Plymouth Hot Springs. My mom was staying there for the week so Randy pulled my trailer there so we could veg out while the kids were on break.

One of the days we invited some of the kids friends up to go swimming with us.

This was Harrison's first camping trip. He did awesome and loved spending time outside.

Claire and I got to spend some good time doing girly stuff with grandma Moose. We painted our nails and did a TON of cooking and baking.

My mom invited one of her friends Kathy up. They worked on a quilt for her daughter.

The kids had fun playing on the playground there.

On Friday the weather turned cold and windy. In fact it snowed a little that day. Randy and I decided to take them to a movie and then go back to Logan to play in a park instead of sit in the trailer while the snow storm passed.

On Saturday it finally warmed up a little. My cousins Brad and Rochelle joined us for the weekend. They bought a nice trailer last year.

Randy let Brad ride his motorcycle around the BIG trails. This was Brad's first time riding somewhere besides the field at our house. We were surprised he did so well.
My parents and I watched from the car at the bottom of the hill. It was much warmer in the truck.

Claire's new thing is crossing her eyes in pictures. I have a dozen pictures with her goofy crossed eyes on this trip.

It was nice to get away for the week. I had camping fever so bad this spring since my summer was cut short when I went on bed-rest last year.

Brad's April Fools Joke

For April Fools Brad wanted to play a funny trick on his Nanny and Papa. I found some old expired casting supply at my work and brought it home. We wrapped up his arm and texted this picture to Nanny and Papa.

He told them he broke his arm after jumping his motorcycle. He had them going for quite some time. He had them convinced to send him a care package in the mail. It was so funny to watch his sly little face while he talked to them on the phone. He thought he was being so clever.

After about 20 minutes we sent them this picture.

He got them good!!!!

Sporting the new digs

Aunt Kendra bought the babies new matching shirts that say "My Auntie Rocks". Soooo cute!!

We are lucky to have such fabulous Aunties on both sides of the family.

First Visit to the Zoo

The weather has been so nice!!! Melissa and I took Wyatt and Claire to the Zoo. They loved it. They are both at such a great age.

Can't wait for more warm weather to get rid of the winter blues.

Cub Scouts

Brad had his first Cub Scout pack meeting last week. He could hardly wait. I had to initiate him by painting his face while his leader read the symbolism behind it. He also earned his bobcat badge.

Then they had a Pinewood safety derby. All the scouts had to come up with a way to keep an egg safe after being crashed into a table at the end of the track. It was fun because it wasn't about how fast it went or how fancy the car was. All the boys had a riot.

Our ward is HUGE. There was a big turnout.

Brad's car is the red car on the left. He wanted a truck. He had lots of help from his dad and Todd next door.

St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day fell on a Saturday this year. (I bet all the teachers in America were so happy!!!)
The kids got all dressed up in green and begged to have dyed hair.

Aunt Kamie gave them huge gob stoppers. I remember eating those as a kid. I would lick it until my tongue was completely raw and bleeding.

That morning we participated in the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade. Brad loved that he got to be a part of it this year. Then we stopped and had treats at the end.

I love living in this neighborhood!!! We are surrounded by great kids and friends.

Silly Girls

Claire's friend Blyss has been coming over to play a lot. These girls are so silly. They play so well together. It is nice to have such good friends. Their favorite game to play is pretend puppies. They will play it for hours. They can even play puppies while putting on make up, riding bikes or playing dolls.

Yesterday they were having a discussion about eye color. They couldn't believe that they both had hazel eyes.

Done and Done!!!!!

YEA!!!!! Randy is now the holder of a Masters Degree. I know it officially happened in December but the diploma just came in the mail. He walks in May. Stay tuned for an invite to the big graduation party.

I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father. Randy always works so hard and he is a great example to his kids. Congrats Randy!!! We love you.

Trying out the Motorcycle

Brad couldn't wait to try his motorcycle. He caught on fast. I couldn't believe it. It is hard for me to watch him. I don't know if it is because he is growing up so fast or that it just plain scares me to death.

He thinks he is all that and a bag of chips!!! It is kinda cute.

The After After Party

Some of our family spent the night. After sledding we came back to the house and had hot chocolate with icecream to continue the birthday celebration.

Brad got moustaches from Tim and Kamie. They were a big hit with everyone. They appeared in a lot of pictures over the weekend.

Lounging around

On Sunday morning we managed to get everyone showered and ready. It was a miracle.

It was a PACKED weekend filled with great company, good times, and tasty food!!!
