Big Blue Eyes

Harrison's eyes officially changed from the newborn grey to BRIGHT BLUE. He has such big eyes and long lashes. He is going to be a lady killer one day.

Here are a few more...just because I think he is cute.

Aggies Game

Friday night we got to go to the last Aggie home game. It was a riot. The kids had a blast. This was Harrison's first game and certainly not his last. He was so good. The noise didn't bother him at all. Randy and Brad got to go on the floor during a time out and accept a check from Bank of Utah for Habitat for Humanity. It was a ton of fun. The students are so fun to watch. The kids joined in all the cheers.

Student of the Week

Last week Brad earned student of the week. He got a certificate and a free meal at Pizza Pie Cafe. He got to eat his lunch with the principal and have his picture hanging on the wall at the school. This is the first time he has earned this award. He worked so hard and we were so shocked and happy for him.

We took him to dinner that night to celebrate and we stuffed ourselves at the buffet. This is his favorite restaurant. He likes that he can eat as much as he wants. Randy and I hate buffets so this was truly a celebration for Brad.

GOOD JOB BRAD!!!!!

T-Wolves

Brad finished up his basketball season with his dad as his coach. It was so fun watching him improve every game. At the last game Brad scored half of the points for his team. We always call him our baby giraffe. It pays off to be tall and get most of the rebounds. It was also fun to watch him set screens and fake to the basket. He learned a ton this year. I am actually sad it is over because that means soccer starts. I am a fair weather fan. Soccer spectating is FREEZING.

Spring??? Winter??? NOT SURE!!!

Since the sun has been shining lately we have been bundling up and taking nice walks. The sun feels so good. I have missed the good heavy snowstorms this year but am grateful for the early preview of spring.

Ironically is snowing pretty hard as I speak!!! At least we got a couple good days worth of the stroller in February.

THE BIG DEBATE

People either tell me that Harrison looks exactly like Bradley or that he looks exactly like Claire. I think he looks just like Harrison. However I will say that he certainly belongs to our family. I see both of his siblings in him. I feel like I am reliving both of my kiddos infancy. There are days when he reminds me of Brad and days he reminds me of Claire.

Tell me what you think!!!

This is Bradley when he was 4 months old....

This is Claire when she was 4 months old...

Back to work...

My doctor cleared me to return to work. To be honest it has been nice to get back into things. It makes me feel normal. I only work one 12 hour shift a week. So far it has worked out great. Some of my certifications had lapsed since being gone for almost 5 months so I had to take a bunch of re-certification classes. My mom and Randy's mom came up and took turns watching the kids during the day so I could get caught up.

Randy's mom agreed to watch the kids so Randy and I could go out on a much needed date night. Randy took me to a great Sushi Bar. It was seriously so good. They had a crab and mango roll that was to die for. I have been craving it ever since.

After dinner we went to Cold Stone for ice-cream. I didn't want to go home after ice-cream so we loitered at Home Depo since it was the only thing open late. After that I STILL didn't want to go home so we went to Kneeders and ordered a Pumpkin Steamer. It was a much needed time out from life and the kids. Thanks Myrna!! We appreciate it tons.

Miss Claire

Claire has changed so much in the last few months. I don't know if she seems older because of the new baby, or she really has made a huge jump. She is so smart. Her preschool teacher pulled me aside a couple of weeks ago and asked me to talk to her about finishing her work then walking around doing other kids work for them. It made me laugh. She is starting to sound out small words and is so interested in learning to read. I wish she could start Kindergarten with the rest of her friends. Oh well it gives her one more year in preschool. She is still really into cowgirls. As soon as her cowgirl shirt comes out of the wash she wants to wear it. She has also mastered the art of schmoozing. If she wants something she will butter you up and say you are the bestest bestest bestest person in the whole world and I love you soooo much. She usually gets what she wants when she uses that tactic. She has been so helpful with Harrison and loves to play mommy. Love you Claire.

Big milestones

Brad is growing up so fast. He turns 8 in a month. He is so excited to be baptised. We just had parent teacher conference and we were so pleased with the progress he has made. He excels in reading and math. His class is having a reading contest and he is in first place. I don't know if that is because he loves to read or because he is so competitive...probably both. He has such a tender heart and will befriend anyone. We are so proud of you Brad and the wonderful young man you are becoming.

Harrison

We still can't get enough of this guy. He finally hit the 10 pound mark. He is still not on the growth chart, but we know he will catch up in no time. He is such a good baby. He sleeps through most nights and puts up with a lot of energy from his big brother and sister. As soon as Brad gets home from school he goes looking for the baby. Claire can't get enough of him either. She can't help but waking him whenever he goes down for a nap. She loves giving him his binky and bringing me diapers. She wants to play with him all of the time.

Basketball Season

Now that Randy is Graduated he gets to coach Brad's basketball games. Randy is such a good coach and loves doing it.

Randy's parents have been to several of his games. As well as some of his aunts and uncles. Brad loves all the attention. He is a pretty good scorer and re-bounder this year. We laugh at him every time he scores then immediately looks at the score board and counts up his points in his head.

Harrison sleeps right through the games despite all the cheering and noise. I guess he is used to our crazy house.

New Years Eve 2012

We went to the Miller's house for dinner. Zak and Marcy have a projector in their basement. The kids got to watch a movie on the big screen while the adults played games upstairs.

Sicaly and Wyatt were glued at the hip all night. They were so cute.

After the movie was over the kids had an ultimate dance party. Brad was a bit too cool to dance. After a few songs he warmed up and couldn't help dancing.

At 10:00PM (Midnight in kid time) we rang in the new year. Then we were boring and lame and went home early to get to bed.

Welcome 2012!!!!

All Smiles

Right after Christmas Harrison started socially smiling. It makes all the late night feedings, crying, and poopy diapers worth it.

Christmas Dinner

I hosted Christmas Dinner. My parents and my sister Julie joined us.

After dinner we played, visited and lounged.

Grandpa Moose thought Harrison had the right idea.

My parents spent the night and we ate, played and visited all over again. It was so nice to have them over.

Christmas Morning at HOME

Luckily we didn't miss Santa. He was so good to us this year.

Before we opened any presents we wrote down a gift we wanted to give to the Savoir and put it in a tin, then placed them under our tree. We got to read our gifts from last year and it was fun to reflect on the things we worked on.

Santa brought Claire her very own computer. Now she can use her own instead of changing all the settings on mom and dad's computer.

Brad got an MP3 player. Now he can stop stealing mom's music player.

Claire needed to show Harrison all her presents. He was very interested.

Claire got a new cowgirl outfit from Nanny to match Clarabell her cowgirl doll.

It was nice to be home on Christmas morning with no agenda. We got to spend time playing with the kids all morning.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve night with Randy's family. The Fischers go bowling and the kids look forward to it every year.

Since Kamie and I had new babies we stayed at the house and did the last minute touches on dinner.
The babies chilled on the couch and enjoyed each others company.

Once the crowd came home we had a very traditional German dinner then hurried and cleaned up so we could open presents.

Claire was preoccupied with Rudy. She was bossing him around since no one else would listen to her.

This was the year of the hats. The grandkids some really cute ones. I love this picture. Matt and Tori found these at Old Navy.

Harrison got this from Lance and Kendra...It gives me camping fever.

Baby Reagan's piggy hat

One of Brad's gifts was money. He was so excited. He just recently opened a bank account and loves to save money.

Nanny made the kids cute PJ's.

After a fun several days we packed up and headed back to Richmond. The kids were worried we would miss Santa. The fell fast asleep in the car on the way home.
