Sporting the new digs

Aunt Kendra bought the babies new matching shirts that say "My Auntie Rocks". Soooo cute!!

We are lucky to have such fabulous Aunties on both sides of the family.

First Visit to the Zoo

The weather has been so nice!!! Melissa and I took Wyatt and Claire to the Zoo. They loved it. They are both at such a great age.

Can't wait for more warm weather to get rid of the winter blues.

Cub Scouts

Brad had his first Cub Scout pack meeting last week. He could hardly wait. I had to initiate him by painting his face while his leader read the symbolism behind it. He also earned his bobcat badge.

Then they had a Pinewood safety derby. All the scouts had to come up with a way to keep an egg safe after being crashed into a table at the end of the track. It was fun because it wasn't about how fast it went or how fancy the car was. All the boys had a riot.

Our ward is HUGE. There was a big turnout.

Brad's car is the red car on the left. He wanted a truck. He had lots of help from his dad and Todd next door.

St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day fell on a Saturday this year. (I bet all the teachers in America were so happy!!!)
The kids got all dressed up in green and begged to have dyed hair.

Aunt Kamie gave them huge gob stoppers. I remember eating those as a kid. I would lick it until my tongue was completely raw and bleeding.

That morning we participated in the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade. Brad loved that he got to be a part of it this year. Then we stopped and had treats at the end.

I love living in this neighborhood!!! We are surrounded by great kids and friends.

Silly Girls

Claire's friend Blyss has been coming over to play a lot. These girls are so silly. They play so well together. It is nice to have such good friends. Their favorite game to play is pretend puppies. They will play it for hours. They can even play puppies while putting on make up, riding bikes or playing dolls.

Yesterday they were having a discussion about eye color. They couldn't believe that they both had hazel eyes.

Done and Done!!!!!

YEA!!!!! Randy is now the holder of a Masters Degree. I know it officially happened in December but the diploma just came in the mail. He walks in May. Stay tuned for an invite to the big graduation party.

I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father. Randy always works so hard and he is a great example to his kids. Congrats Randy!!! We love you.

Trying out the Motorcycle

Brad couldn't wait to try his motorcycle. He caught on fast. I couldn't believe it. It is hard for me to watch him. I don't know if it is because he is growing up so fast or that it just plain scares me to death.

He thinks he is all that and a bag of chips!!! It is kinda cute.

The After After Party

Some of our family spent the night. After sledding we came back to the house and had hot chocolate with icecream to continue the birthday celebration.

Brad got moustaches from Tim and Kamie. They were a big hit with everyone. They appeared in a lot of pictures over the weekend.

Lounging around

On Sunday morning we managed to get everyone showered and ready. It was a miracle.

Eric holding the babies. They looked so small in his BIG arms.

It was a PACKED weekend filled with great company, good times, and tasty food!!!

The After Party

After the Party at City Hall those who stayed went sledding. There was very little snow but just enough to kill ourselves.

We bundled up the babies. They looked so cute.

I think the adult boys had more fun than the kids. Marcy and Zak and Todd and Melissa brought their 4-wheelers. They picked people up at the bottom and brought them back to the top. The boys were having so much fun that they rolled Todd's 4 wheeler!!! How does that happen in 1 inch of snow.
Most of the girls huddled in the trucks to stay warm. Hence the lack of pictures.

At the end I was dragged out of the truck and sent down the hill with Randy. I was wearing slippers. I'm glad I could be the source of a good laugh.

Party at City Hall--March 3, 2012

After the Ordinances we went to Richmond City Hall for lunch. All of our family and close friends were there.

A BIG thanks to Kendra for taking pictures for me!!! It is so hard to host a party and take pictures too. She saved me.

Randy and I bought Brad a motorcycle for his birthday. We pulled it out of the closet and he was totally suprised. He couldn't wait to ride it home. Or so he thought he was going to ride it home.

Even Wyatt got in on the action.
