Happy Easter!!!

Don’t get too excited. We did the conventional Easter traditions… the hunt, the dying of the eggs. We even got all hyped up on sugar this morning. What is Easter without a good sugar rush?
I decided to do an Easter breakfast instead of a dinner this year. We have late church and I didn’t want to arrange an Easter feast that late in the day. Kari and Steven came over to stuff copious amounts of my cookin' this morning. We had omelets, hash, and cinnamon rolls. We went to church so stuffed.
After breakfast I broke out the camera to snap some pictures of the kids in their new Easter attire. Steve and Kari came to church with us. It took all of my energy to keep Steve and Brad quiet. I don’t know how many times I had to smack my brother to keep him and my 4 year old quiet. I don’t know how some mothers retain the messages in sacrament meeting when trying to keep their bench in order. I don’t think I heard anything the first speaker said.

I love Easter. It gives us a chance to stop and think about our Savior and his Atonement. I am so grateful for his sacrifice. I make so many mistakes and I have so many imperfections. I am grateful that I can be forgiven for all the foolish things that I do. It is also very comforting to know that I can be with my husband and children forever. I know that he lives and loves us. I feel so indebted to my Savior for his hand in my life. I see and feel it every day. I am so blessed.
