October is OVER...
Happy Halloween!!!
Here are the pumpkins we took all afternoon carving. Thank goodness Randy’s mom was there to help me. She has really bad arthritis in her hands it the tasks I was asking her to do were beyond painful. I was on my own today to get them done because Randy ended up having to stay at work. We buckled down and carved away and finished just before dark. She then made us dinner in a pumpkin. Brad loved peeking in the oven to watch the Jack-O-Lantern slowly wilt on the pan. After we were fully fed and happy we headed out to do some trick or treating. Randy and his brothers have rebuilt a golf cart so we all piled on and cruised the neighborhood in style. Brad had it all figured out. At every door he asked if he could have an extra piece of candy for his little sister knowing full well that he would end up eating it. When it started raining we headed back to grandmas for donuts and cider.
Before we went home we went to my parents house to see Brad’s cousins in costume. All the kids were on a sugar high so grandpa blasted the radio and we all danced until the sugar wore off. On the way home, the kids fell asleep in the car and are now in bed dreaming of candy bars and Laffy Taffy.

Sounds like you had a great time! Brad is no dummy! Love the costumes! You did an awesome job on the pumpkins. It's amazing how long it can take to do an easy pattern on a pumpkin! Way to go Super Mommy!!
Those are some serious pumpkins! It's amazing! And Brad is a genius! I laughed so hard when I read that! Looks like a fun Halloween..and tell Randy that we are so joining you guys in your golf cart when we have kids old enough!
The pumpkins look fantastic! Matt was whining a little last night about missing trick-or-treating with Brad, he is definitely a kid at heart. Love the pictures!
Those pumpkins are unbelievable! Would you consider doing mine for a fee? You could make millions!!:)
Sounds like a fun night!
Those pumpkins are awesome. Thanks for the invite to the party. My kids had fun. We went to Macy's for the pumpkins too. I understand not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for a pumpkin. Brad's costume is soooo cute. Your cheerleader is pretty dang cute as well.
That has to be the coolest pumpkins I have ever seen! I love it!
Your little gobblins are so cute and love that you dressed up with them. The pumpkins are amazing...I bet they did take you all afternoon. fabulous pictures.
P.S. Jenny, I had lots of fun with your husband and cute little kids last night! Brad was so funny bowling! And Claire is so stinking cute! Instead of clapping for everyone, she would grab my hands and make me clap. Such a fun little family! And Brady was glad he and Randy got to hang out too! We missed you! We'll have to go again!
