Richmond City celebrated it's 150th birthday today. To celebrate city council invited all of the residents to a barbecue dinner. A local farmer donated corn from his crop and I am sure someone in Richmond donated their steer. It is amazing that Richmond can feed the entire city. I am really liking this small town stuff.
The city rented big blow up bouncers and slides. Claire was a maniac. I couldn't get her off of it. She LOVED it. We came home to find a big hole in her pants. Good thing she had her diaper as extra padding.

i thought for sure richmond was only a few months old...since i'd never heard of it til a few months ago! that corn looks delicious! and really, small towns aren't too bad:)
What a fun celebration. Bruce would love it there - I think I would too. If we ever lived back in Utah I think we could call Richmond home. Love your new family photo. You have such a sweet little family.

Corn on the cob is the best and homecooked food is even better. Happy Birthday Richmond! Claire coming down the slide is so funny, her poor pants.
That is so funly!!

Jen, your kids are awesome and I am glad they tried so many things and had so much fun. It makes for a really enjoyable parent experience.
I can't believe you got through that line so fast. Next time, I'm standing by you!
