Updates...

I don't know how January can last forever and fly by at the same time....

I am glad it is February. It is one step closer to spring.

In Local News...

A couple of weekends ago my brother and sister in law came and spent the weekend with us. Aaron helped Randy with our plumbing and the kids literally ran wild. It was fun to relax... well the girls relaxed while the boys slaved away in the basement.

My kids had a hard time sharing their cousin Corbin. It was a constant battle for his attention. He is such a cute little stinker.

One of the nights we threw the kids all together in the tub. It was good entertainment. I could not keep Claire from dipping her face in the bubbles. She got a kick out of it. She really is my little fish.

In food news...

My girlfriend at work shared this recipe with me and I want to know where it has been my whole life!!!!

It is
1 egg
1 cup of peanut butter
and
1 cup white sugar

350 for 7 minutes!!!!

That is it... no flour no butter. They turn out perfect every time. You have to try them. They take 15 min to make start to finish. I can't believe this is the first time I have heard about them.

Don't you just want to get up right now and make these???

In weather news...

The last few storms have delivered buckets of snow at out house. Randy built the kids a snow fort out front.

We love the snow but we are ready for spring. We feel like hermits in our neighborhood. Everything is so quiet. Everybody stays inside. My kids are going crazy.

In real estate news...

Randy has been working like a mad man in the basement. With a ton of help from family and neighbors. (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!) He finished the electrical, plumbing, framing and drywall in 2 of the bedrooms. In a few weeks we will actually have a guest room for our guests. I can't wait. Thank you Randy for all your hard work. You are a machine.

My fireplace that I am in love with all ready just by looking at the framing.

My almost guest bedroom. It is getting so close.

I really loved this house when I bought it but now I absolutely adore it. It has been fun to watch it transform over the last few months.

Jen, you can always come back to SLC. Then we could get together more often and you won't have to worry about all those days in the snow :o)
