Winter Blues

I have a bit of cabin fever...when I get bored I cook. My mom and Dad came to spend the weekend with us. My mom and I tried a few new recipes that were fantastic. We made burgers with onion strings and homemade BBQ sauce. Then for desert we made Pioneer Woman's prune cake. YUM!!

Brad and Claire made the cutest sous chefs.

Sunday night I was REALLY bored so I attempted glazed donuts. It was labor intensive but really good.

We need some sunny weather to cure my cabin fever so I can go outside and take a jog or a walk instead of snacking until I am a walking stick of butter.

I have tried cooking some of the Pioneer Woman's stuff and I fail every time. But her stuff always looks sooo yummy!!!
By the way, thanks for the kind words on my blog. You are nice, it's kind of a fun hobby and maybe one day it will help me be a makeup artist. :)
