Updates...

I sat down tonight and did a MAJOR update. I wish I was more consistent....but it is what it is. I do what I can.

We are slowly trying to catch up on sleep and adjust to a new person in our family. I think we are catching on. The kids have been so helpful and loving to their new brother.

We have been battling so much illness in our family. Claire had pneumonia last week and Brad and Randy are starting with the coughing. Luckily Harrison has dodged it...knock on wood. It kills Brad and Claire to not hold or get too close to their brother. Harrison is getting the Synagis shots (to prevent RSV). His lungs are still so fragile from being premature and having Respiratory Distress Syndrome. We have tried so hard to keep him away from crowds and germs. It is going to be a long RSV season.

I am slowly getting better. When I delivered my platelets were low (a side effect of pre-eclampsia) so my incision bled more than normal. I developed several hematomas (blood clots) the size of golf balls and one the size of a baseball around my incision. My muscle couldn't heal. Then the hematomas became abscessed. I have no idea how?? I was put on antibiotics and it seemed to clear up. I had several days of feeling great. Then the day before Thanksgiving and after being off antibiotics for 3 days it hit me again. This time it was like a ton of bricks. I had a fever of 103 and I could barely get out of bed. My incision burned like fire and every inch of my body ached. My white blood cells were elevated. My doctor was back and forth about admitting me to the hospital then decided to try one more time with oral antibiotic. I was put on 2 very strong antibiotics. Thank goodness I woke up the next morning feeling better. The last thing I wanted to do was spend Thanksgiving in a hospital!!! I am scheduled for surgery on Monday the 5th to have a hysterectomy. I can't wait to have it over with so I can start a new healthy chapter in my life. It has been a hard 2 years struggling with my health. I want my body back!!!

There are several new posts. Maybe next time I wont wait a whole month to post updates.

Cute pictures! Hallee and Blyss are going to be so jealous of Claire's horse and doll- they saw it at Sam's and wanted it. Harrison and Reagan's are such cuties.
Let me know if I can help with kids for your hysterectomy.

Love all the pictures and updates. As you know, wish you were closer to home so I could take care of YOU and spoil you rotten (as well as the rest of the Fischer Clan). Thanks for being a wonder mother. You are doing a great job.

Good luck on monday Jenny. Although I really wish you and Randy were having more cute babies, I know you'll feel a lot better! You deserve good health after all the crapola you've dealt with.
And that baby.....I might have to borrow him.
I love your update!
