We went camping for Randy's family reunion. We stayed at East Fork of the Bear River in the Uintas.
Papa took the kids for a ride.
Harrison loved being outside. He was so content just hanging out in the playpen watching everyone.
When Nanny and Papa got there they wanted to rest for a bit. The kids wouldn't have that. They begged and begged to do something. The grand-kids got their way. Of course.
While the boys were out on a ride, Claire made Nanny and I some mud soup and grass salad.
That night we drove to Butterfly lake to do some catching.
The kids didn't leave Papa's side all night.
They fished until it was dark and they could no longer see. They caught quite a few.
We didn't pack our swimsuits so they lent Brad this really old swimsuit. He couldn't keep it on his cute little bum. We were laughing pretty good.
A quick stop at the Bear river
We were camped right by a fox den. This little baby fox would let the kids get right up next to it. It was adorable. I don't know who was more curious...the fox or the kids.
Bradley loved the freedom of trial riding instead of our field next door. There were so many trails for riding. It was beautiful.
Practicing a bit of archery
Hooray for trailer freezers so we can enjoy icecream bars while camping.
Claire caught a million butterflies with her bug net. They were everywhere.
Every time we went fishing Claire wanted to plant a kiss on all the fish. I think she has the "Frog Prince" story confused.
Randy took Harrison on a quick ride through camp. He was loving it.
We were there alone for the first few days then Matt, Tori, Lance, and Kendra came up Friday night. (Tim and Kamie couldn't join us this trip...we really missed them)
The boys teaching Brad how to hike a football correctly.

Lance and Kendra
On Saturday night we drove to Whitney Lake for more fishing. Kendra made some yummy dinner on the beach.
Claire with her Uncle Matt.
Brad caught the only fish at Whitney Lake. He was so proud of himself.
Harrison enjoying life as usual.
On the way home we drove to Christmas Meadows to look for moose. It was so stunningly beautiful. These pictures just don't do it justice.
We watched the most gorgeous sunset. It was the perfect ending to a perfect week. It was a great trip.
